Interesting you call it an infection. Could it be that what people think of as sugar sensitivity is really the infection "feasting" on the sugar. Just a thought.

@FletcherHabit Good post, but if it's genetic would a parent of mine not have it? I fit alot of the symptoms from the alcohol, spicy foods, anxiety, ocd, bad handwriting among so many others I read it causes, but that could be a parasite or Candida as well (hopefully just that and not pyroluria). Would a parent of mine have to have it? If not it could be bacterial for me and a beast I have on my own. So many questions.

@onblock7 I encourage you to try to see their path towards health as a journey of self learning , discovery and exploration.

@onblock7 yes I have heard the theory of pyroluria being caused by an infection, possibly bacterial but there is yet no proof to support this as far as I know. What is know is that it tends to run in families implying genetic origin- at least a genetic predisposition. Much still has to be researched about this condition/disorder/disease but it gets low priority as its not acutely fatal . gl

Tulsi is an adoptogen herb which helps your body adapt and deal with stress which would be good for your adrenals! An Indian guy at work gave me a plant and I drink the tea and it seems to calm among other things. Can Pyroluria possibly be a bacterial infection in the body or similar to Candida? Both would have similar symptoms (Fungal infections). Lyme I also thought of for me, I would never ever rule that out in this day and age, peace.Sean.

@FletcherHabit Good stuff! I feel I have had that since a kid pretty much, does it get worse with age? It has gotten worse lately in the form of my OCD, maybe it's a parasite infection or Candida though since I have not been diagnosed? I don't do well on vitamins or minerals, they seem to be rejected by my body in the form of vitamins, I do better on herbs and superfoods (Fruits too). I also would like you to look up Tulsi since you mentions adrenals and anti stress things cont.

@onblock7 Hi I never got a reply from that pyroluric post and its been 2 months .. I can tell you my own pyro treatments have been working better since starting an adrenal support regiment. consisting of lots of vit. c and B5 throughout the day. I strongly believe now that the more your adrenals are weakened by chronic stress and fatigue the higher the pyroles get and hence the less effective the B6 and Zn supplements . gl

@FletcherHabit I would like to know as well what kind to use to cure or help with it.
FletcherHabit (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@unityemissions Curious to know what herbs and spices you use to help treat the pyroluria. Ive only recently discovered I have it and im responding very poorly to treatment. what do you make of the genetic/Adrenal cause as opposed to pathogenic infection theory?Cheers

@dionstrezlecki Guy has the condition, and sincerely wants people to get well. At the same time, he did a lot of research and stumbled onto a couple of fixes. Just because he wants to make a little bit of money from discovering and promoting the fix, doesn't mean the condition isn't real. Not sure if that's what you mean, but it's a regular irrational thought process. I have this condition as well, and it's very real. I treat with nutrients, diet, probiotics, essential oils, and herbs + spices |
